Athlete’s foot should first be attended to with cleanliness, keeping the skin dry and maintaining cleanliness in the foot area. Wash it daily several times, frequently change socks, and avoid wearing shoes such as sports shoes or travel shoes that are not breathable to prevent excessive sweating of the feet. Do not eat spicy foods like chili pepper, green onions, or garlic which can induce sweating. It is also possible to apply zinc oxide and undecylenic acid creams or miconazole nitrate cream externally, and when necessary, take oral antibiotics such as tetracycline or fluconazole for anti-fungal treatment. Expose the shoes that have been worn before changing them to sunlight.
