How to Treat Foot Fungus to Get Rid of the Root

Foot fungus, also known as Athlete’s foot, is a skin disease caused by fungal infection. Due to increased sweating in the feet during summer, there is a higher risk of fungal infection. Foot fungus can be generally classified into three types based on the pattern of skin lesions: vesicular, scaly, and macerated. Treatment options include oral administration of Saltopiran tablets (containing Itraconazole), one 0.2 g tablet per day for two weeks; and topical application of Salicylic Acid + Terbinafine cream, twice a day for four weeks. It is recommended to continue treatment until all symptoms have subsided, followed by a week of post-treatment care. During the period of foot fungus, it is advisable to discard and replace shoes and socks worn during this time. Regular cleaning of the feet and maintaining dry feet are also important.
