Cornified plantar warts, also known as verrucae plana, are a common type of hyperkeratotic foot warts. This is categorized based on clinical symptoms. It is a common local fungal infection causing skin disease. Primarily it spreads through direct contact. Treatment can be applied locally using drugs such as mupirocin ointment, wart remover solution, clotrimazole cream, sodium sulfacetamide-sulfur topical cream, and betadine softpare cream. Foot warts are a common skin disease. It is advisable to maintain personal hygiene and avoid contact transmission in daily life. Some patients may also develop lesions on other parts of the body such as fingers or legs.
